Picking up the baton from John…Repent, the Kingdom is at hand…He wants us to leave everything if need be to enter in to the Kingdom. I’m reminded of Matthew 11:12 “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force.” Whoh! Can you see it!?

To be honest, not really. Does the 'violent men take it by force' refer to the church being persecuted?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking about what the Kingdom of God actually is and can only think it is wherever God is given free reign. And that brings me neatly on to my other favourite subject - Scottish independence. It is interesting to reflect on the fact that Elizabeth would be the Queen of an independent Scotland due to the original deal being a union of crowns. It's all about who has authority. Now if that doesn't bring a few bloggers out of the woodwork, I don't know what will.
