Here we see Jesus seated on top of a mountain with his disciples can you see them lessening to every word what would
they be thinking? Whats this he telling us poor in spirit, meek, merciful, mourn,pure in heart, righteous, and then on top
of all that we to be peacemakers what to all these sinners. Turn the other check he,s having a laugh. these guys where
working class probably had to fight for about everything they had.What would Jesus be thinking oh Father are you sure
these guys are the right disciple for the job in hand.How many times do we think we are not right for the job ahead but
hey folks we are He has pick ever one of us yes to be peacemakers.

Hey Kenny great to hear from you. I just loved the way you reminded me that Jesus picks us. It is so easy to think that you have chosen Him and His way but you are right. God turned his face towards us, he called us first.
ReplyDeleteIt's a tall order isn't it? We can only do it when we take on His yoke. It is interesting to think about the kind of people the disciples were. You must be right, Kenny, they would have been used to a tough life.
